Service & Operations Manager
The Operations Manager is responsible for the daily activities of installation, maintenance, repair and troubleshooting guidance (remote support) of permanent elevators and temporary construction hoists.
Responsibilities include scheduling and training technicians and sub-contractors. Work to establish service partners within the US, who can assist with installation and service. Communicating company policies and procedures, administering the safety program, estimating and updating labor costs and post project follow-up. Knowledge of all federal, state, and local elevator industry code requirements. Provide Technical telephone and remote support for technicians, service partners and customers. Capable of applying for licenses and permits as well as scheduling inspections. Prepare and process service contracts and parts orders. Field payroll approval including timesheets and expenses. Assist accounting with billing as needed. Work with all departments to ensure profitability of projects. Occasional travel as required to monitor performance or meet with clients. Other tasks as required.
Requirements needed for this position include at least five years of operational and supervisory management in the elevator industry, preferably in industrial applications. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Ability to read engineering drawings and schematics. Great communication and organizational skills. A good work ethic with a positive can-do attitude. A college degree and QEI is a plus.
